The Competition is divided into Gender and Age categories, further divided into genres of Country, Gospel, and Bluegrass as vocalists, instrumentalists, and songwriters.

1st, 2nd, 3rd place qualifiers at the State level will then have the opportunity to represent Oklahoma's rich music heritage and compete on the National level through NACMAI in March of 2026 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!

You do not have to be a member to compete at the State Competition, but you do have to be a member to compete at Nationals. So, if you qualify for nationals, you will have to get a membership in order to attend. We welcome all singers and songwriters who love country, gospel, and bluegrass music to join us. Membership is $30 annually, from July 1-June 30.
